"Capture the vibe"...was inspired while I was listening to a favourite aussie hip-hop group going by the name of the hilltop hoods and "vibe" was part of the lyrics in one of their tracks. At the time I was experimenting with various calligraphy and typographic styles such as ornaments and flourishes for various projects and accomplished this in my spare time.

yes i have a soft spot for typography. I still look at this piece and think...'it could be so much better'
I would definitely love to collaborate on something like this. Maybe a mix of type+photography – Just say the word. :D

good typography... that's a hard thing to learn... comes a lot from experience and knowing what works and what doesn't... keeping it simple is usually a key. Easiest way to learn is to experiment and train yourself to know what looks best... all comes in time.

sure you can send a photo if you like, probably would be more of a collaboration in that sense. I recently downloaded some photos from a image library that i was going to manipulate and make into a piece. (but you can choose to send your own if you don't like any of these ...ps. I have a account at work so I get the images for free, so don't worry about cost or anything :D) my email is on the my da page if you want to send something.
